ITINERARY
Friday
We begin with a guided visit to a local seaweed and urchin farm at the Port of Bandon, followed by check-in, a hosted group dinner in Coos Bay, and a cozy fireside evening with s’mores by the campfire. Please arrive in Bandon by 12:45pm. If you are not able to see make that time, please see the note below.
*Please note: The tour at the Port of Bandon begins at 1pm. We know you may be driving from far away, or you may not be able to leave work early, and THAT'S OK! In order to keep things fair, if you are not able to attend the Friday tour at 1pm, your tour price will be discounted to reflect that. If this is the case for you, please select that option when booking, which is priced at $1255, and is labeled as such.
Saturday
A full day of craft, coast, and cuisine — Japanese ceramics at the Oregon Coast School of Art, lunch at a local favorite, a walk at Umpqua Lighthouse, visits to a working oyster farm and seafood warehouse, and a hosted multi-course meal at the local fine dining restaurant to close the day.
Sunday
End the tour with a walk along the Charleston docks with Oregon Sea Grants learning about the local fishing industry, and a stop at a local seafood market (bring your coolers if you'd like to buy fish to take home!) before heading home by lunch time.
Book your spot here!
*Please fill out the booking form for each traveler.
