First…
…you will receive a tailored survey about the details of your vision, your personality and travel goals, so that we can learn about your communication, activity, and travel style.
Next…
…we’ll schedule a check-in where you’ll get a preview of your trip, ensuring that we are designing your trip exactly how you want it, from restaurants to hotels, activities and transportation, and striking just the right balance of planned vs unplanned time for you.
Finally…
…one month before your trip departs, we’ll meet one last time to discuss your final trip package, answer any questions you may have, make final adjustments, and ensure that your bookings are just how you’d like them – and that your itinerary feels just right for you.

Does pulling the trigger on flight booking make you nervous? Take advantage of our flight consulting! In a one-on-one meeting we’ll talk through your best flight options and walk through the booking process together, right there and then. We do all the thinking and analysis for you so you can avoid any unnecessary confusion, or decision fatigue.

We build a customized itinerary reflecting your day-to-day activities and share that with you in an easy-access while you are traveling so you are never without the plan.

It can be hard to know what to pack when you’re dealing with the customs of a foreign culture, not to mention planning ahead for weather, activities, access to laundry, and so on. We’re the packing pros and can share a customized list taking into account your precise itinerary.

Arriving aware and prepared can make all the difference on your trip. When traveling to unfamiliar lands it’s important to have some background knowledge on the culture and customs before you get there so as to avoid unnecessary snafus. We will put together a deep-dive document including useful phrases, brief histories, mannerisms to note, and more, so that you can hit the ground running.

In our humble opinion, private guiding elevates a trip ten-fold. A private guide allows you to take it all in and fully immerse yourself in the moment. Your guide handles local navigation, translating, hailing taxis, and more! Not to mention their amazing local connections and knowledge, while you enjoy a totally hassle-free travel experience. Rather than constantly checking Google maps, you’re enjoying the stimulating conversation and people-watching. Suddenly, you need an afternoon pick-me-up, and they know the best coffee shop in the neighborhood. Your guide also has your back when the inevitable thunderstorm catches you by surprise, or a change-of-plans means you need to cancel a booking at the last minute.
MBT offers private guiding through Lizzy, our Founder, to make your experience that much richer. Lizzy has been traveling since she was a little kid, from Europe to Central and South America, to Asia. With tour guides for parents, Lizzy has a wealth of experience in traveling to extremely beautiful places, is a skilled outdoors-woman, and has a keen sense of how to provide comfort in even the most foreign and uncomfortable settings. Lizzy loves to share new and exciting experiences with her travelers who quickly become friends, and she’s always looking for the next best meal from a delicious taco with handmade tortillas, to an exclusive multi-course meal, and a new piece of clothing to take home as her favorite form of souvenir.
